To access organization management section chose menu option Administration > Organizations in the navigation menu.
This section is available only if you have the Administrator role in at least one organization assigned to your user account.
The Organizations section allows you to view and manage the organizations assigned to your user account.
In this section, you can:
view the list of all assigned organizations
search for a specific organization
show or hide inactive organizations
add a new organization
view your role in each organization and its current status
open the list of users assigned to an organization
view and change organization settings such as default currency, dispatch mode, journal storage duration, integration with other services, etc.
leave an organization and therefore remove it from your list of assigned organizations
update the organization profile in the TecOrder Platform
export all organizations and their corresponding business relations
export all organizations and their corresponding users
The List of organizations provides an overview of all organizations assigned to your user account. For each organization, the table displays the organization name, TecCom ID, your user role in the organization, current organization status, and access to the list of assigned users.
If you have the Administrator role in an organization, you can view the list of users assigned to this organization by clicking the link icon in the Users column. If your role in the organization is User, access to the user list is not available, and the link icon in the Users column is disabled.
For easier navigation, you can use the search field to find a specific organization. You can also select Show inactive to display organizations that are currently inactive or deactivated in the TecOrder Platform.
Sorting is available for table columns. To sort the list, hover over a column header and click the sorting icon.
From this page you can:
access organisation details by clicking on a specific organization
add a new organization by clicking on + Add organization button
export all your organizations and their corresponding business relations by clicking Export with partners
export all your organizations and their corresponding users by clicking Export users
To add a new organization, you need to have a TecCom ID and password for this organization. These credentials are provided after the organization is set up on the TecAlliance platform.
If you do not have a TecCom ID or password, you can request them via the Become a TecAlliance customer and get a new TecCom ID link on the TecCom Portal login page.
To add an organization:
Open Administration > Organizations.
Click + Add organization.

In the Add organization dialog, enter the TecCom ID and Password.

Click Verify to validate the provided credentials in the TecAlliance system.

After successful verification, the organization data saved in the TecAlliance system is displayed. Review the displayed organization information.
Click Save to add the organization to your list of assigned organizations.
After the organization is added, the Administrator role is assigned to your user account for this organization.
The Organization details page displays the configuration settings assigned to an organization. Users with the Administrator role can view and update these settings. Users with the User role can only view organization configurations and cannot change them or perform organization actions.
To open organization details, go to Administration > Organizations and click the required organization in the list.

If you have the Administrator role in the organization, you can:
define the default currency, dispatch mode, and unit of measurement
select the organization highlight color
select the cloud download file format
set journal and log storage duration (available time duration: 3, 6, 9 and 12 Months)
enable or disable download of reverse messages
enable or disable download of e-invoices (download of legally valid invoices from the e-Invoicing service)
enable or disable the Warranty & Returns module
enable or disable the Connect module
enable or disable the Request & Order module
enable or disable the Journal module
enable or disable Business Cloud Article Data
enable or disable Open Orders
configure individual buyer settings for Open Orders
download open order requests in CSV or Excel format
edit the organization profile in the TecOrder Platform
leave the organization
After changing the required settings, click Save to apply the new configuration across the organization.
If you have the User role in the organization, you can only view the settings. To change organization settings or perform organization actions, contact one of the administrators of your organization.
⚠️ Warning:
If you have User role in your organization, you can only view organization configurations and you do not have possibility to change any of them or to initiate any of the actions available under the three dots menu button. If you need to do so, you have to contact one of the administrators of your organization.
The Maintenance window tab is only available for supplier organizations. For more details, see Maintenance Window page.
On the Organization details page, click Edit profile.
In the TecOrder Platform Profile dialog, update the required organization details.
Click Save to apply the changes.
The organization profile contains general organization information, such as address, contact details, city, ZIP code, telephone number, fax, and email.
On the Organization details page, click Leave organization.
In the confirmation dialog, click Yes.

After confirmation, the organization is removed from your list of assigned organizations.
⚠️ Warning:
If you are the last administrator of an organization and remove yourself from it, the relationships of all other users to this organization will also be removed. Before leaving the organization, assign the administrator role to another user.
